Iranian equipment found in Hezballah stash

Israel claimed victory in Hezbollah's southern "capital" yesterday after a battle in Lebanon that uncovered Iranian-made weapons and electronic equipment and left 150 guerrillas dead.

Israeli forces found "war rooms" equipped with Iranian surveillance and eavesdropping gear in Bint Jbail, the main Hezbollah stronghold just inside the border.

"The town is completely controlled by us," an Israeli colonel said.

Caches of weapons were also found in Bint Jbail, Israeli officials said.

Mahmoud Komati, deputy chief of Hezbollah's political arm, refused to acknowledge the group was firing Iranian-made missiles into Israel.

"We don't deny nor confirm. We believe where the weapons come from is irrelevant," he said, adding that Hezbollah has weapons made in France, Russia, China and the United States.

"Some of our fighters carry M16s. So you think we buy them from America?" he asked.

Hezbollah leader Sheik Hassan Nasrallah took aim at Rice's peace proposals when he said in a televised speech that his terror group would not accept any "humiliating" conditions for a cease-fire.

No one deserves humiliation more than Nasrallah. He may be faced with a choice of humiation in defeat or in a cease fire agreement. Right now his perception of his BATNA, best alternaive to a negotiated agreement, is still colored by his arrogance and his mistaken belief that God is on his side, despite the substantial rubble pile that says otherwise. The benefit to the humiliating conditions is that they keep the rubble pile from growing.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014.
