Pakistan looks for help with investigation despite denials

Earlier AP reports said that Pakistan "rejected foreign help in investigating the assassination of Benazir Bhutto," but in a later report said the Pakistani government was reaching out.

The officials said it was still not entirely clear whether Pakistan was seeking international assistance in an investigation, or simply wanted backing from other countries as it conducts its own probe.

"The Pakistan government is discussing with other governments as to how best the investigation can be handled," said one senior U.S. government official, speaking on condition of anonymity because no agreement had yet come from the discussions.

It would be the politically wise thing to do. There is already great distrust of the government and the three different stories on how Bhutto was killed has only further added to that distrust. An international investigation like the one into the Heriri murder in Lebanon is what is needed. they can run down the credible leads without appearing to be involved in a cover up.

29 % of companies say they are unlikely to keep insurance after Obamacare

Conn Carroll: A new survey of 368 midsize to large companies found that 29% of them are considering terminating their active employee health care plans when Obamacare is full implemented in 2014. Only 71% of employers surveyed said they did not expect to drop their health coverage, while 20% said they did not know and 9% said they were planning to exit. The latest survey, conducted by Towers Watson, echoes an ealier survey by McKinsey & Co. finding that 30% of private-sector employers were planning to drop their employee health insurance coverage by 2014.
