Romney and the Brit Olympics

NY Times:
Romney’s Remarks on Olympics Cause a Stir
Mitt Romney called British preparations “disconcerting,” prompting a tart rejoinder from the prime minister.
What I find amusing about this kerfuffle is that Romney did not say anything that had not already been said by the Brit media, yet that same media is now acting as if he insulted the country.  The perfidious conduct of the media is palpable, as they attack Romney, and the politicians are no better.  These people need to get over themselves.  They just might take what he has to say as someone who knows something about preparing for Olympic games.  This NY Post Editorial also sees through the left wing media's attempt to make Romney look bad for expressing an observation.

Jim Geraghty also gets the phony outrage.  He also makes it clear that Romney was referring to reports in the same media that is going ballistic.  It makes you wonder why.  Are they carrying water fro Obama too?
