Republican voters are dissatisfied with Corker and other senators 'nodding their heads' at his words

NY Times:

Corker’s Blast at Trump Has Other Republicans Nodding in Agreement

Other Republicans share the senator’s view of the president but fear retaliation if they express it out loud. Still, it could spell trouble for Trump.
Corker was already in trouble with voters in Tennessee and elsewhere for his facilitating Obama's bad Iran deal.  Exchanging insults with Trump is not going to enhance his appeal or that of other GOP senators.   The fact that many in the media liked his insult will not help him or other senators who approve of it.
