The collapse of the caliphate capitol

NY Times:

U.S.-Backed Forces Capture City Used as ISIS Headquarters

Losing the northern Syrian city of Raqqa is a blow to the Islamic State, which had long used it as the de facto capital of a self-declared caliphate.
The remnants of ISIS leadership fled the area months ago.  They have now lost most of their prized real estate and are holding out against Syrian and Russian efforts to remove them from their last redoubt.  Hopefully the US back forces can help them gather intelligence on ISIS operatives in other parts of the world.  I suspect they will be scouring captured lap top computers for information, mixed in with the terrorists porn collections.
