Wine Country in California under siege from uncontrolled wild fires

NY Times:

California Fires Lay Waste to 115,000 Acres and Rage On

  • Wildfires continued to burn nearly the length of California, killing at least 17 people, hospitalizing hundreds and destroying or damaging some 2,000 buildings. Many people were unaccounted for, and officials feared a rising toll.
  • The two biggest fires consumed more than 52,000 acres of Napa and Sonoma Counties in the wine country of Northern California. A fire chief described those blazes as “zero percent contained.”
California has invested in illegals and liberalism rather than infrastructure to deal with natural and unnatural disasters.  Its legislature is more focused on punishing people for the pronouns they use than in public safety.
