The fact is that the people trying to get to this country know that their current country is not ideal and is perhaps as Trump describes them. What they need to do is prove they are better than that. One way they can do that is by rejecting the failed culture of their original homeland.
I know we are supposed to pretend that all of these countries have some value, but for many of them, it is not evident.
